Maison Marilia
Maison Marilia is the home of a local family that has been living on the very same location for many generations.
Originally, it was a ground floor house that steadily grew towards the sky with the intention to accommodate travelers from all over the world wishing to explore the island’s paths and beauties. Maria and her son George are always eager to welcome a few precious guests every year, while they tend the house all year long and give all their care to secure a comfortable and relaxing accommodation for their traveling “friends”.
As George likes to say “Hospitality is our most precious and authentic tradition; it is a blessing to live on this land and we could not help sharing it with other people”. For anyone who wishes, Maria always looks forward to preparing local treats and offering the guests a taste of the Santorinian gastronomy not sold in restaurants, but found in the cozy, local Greek homes.

When approaching Maison Marilia, one can already tell how the surroundings’ tranquility will play a great part in his holiday.
This traditional Santorinian villa is built on a quiet spot in the area of Akrotiri, far enough from the lights to offer an impeccable view of the stars on a dreamy, cloudless night.
Right after parking your car in the private area, you step into the yard and discover the pool, with magnificent panoramic 180 degrees views of the vineyards, surrounded by the endless blue of the Aegean sea.
Up the stairs and into the beautiful living room, all guests are welcome to relax and enjoy their balcony views in peace, while the fully equipped kitchen also offers our guests the pleasure to cook their own snacks or meals.
There are three Queen-size beds, two in the separate, comfortable bedrooms of the first level and one in the cozy loft all the way up a tiny staircase, along its ensuite WC.
Finally, the villa has one main bathroom featuring a bathtub and free toiletries.
